ATTENTION ALABAMA FOOD PERMIT HOLDERS
Effective January 1, 2010 the Alabama Department of Health will adopt the new FDA food code and will require all category 3,4 and 5 food service operations to have at least one certified food protection manager per operation. If you do not have have a person certified with ServSafe then you would be out of compliance and subject to the 5-point deduction on your inspection. This is a critical item and you may be asked to shut down your operation until you get some one certified. This can cost money and possible business lose. SO GET CERTIFIED TODAY!
